"Repentance" Art show featuring the art of Javon Thompson and Alphonso Sloan

An art collaboration between 2 Pittsburgh Artists, Alphonso "Fonz" Sloan and Javon Thompson. Javon was a talented art student at CMU on a full scholarship when he was gunned down in 1994. Alphonso is an artist and retired Pittsburgh Police officer of 29 years. Both artists grew up in the Garfield neighborhood of Pittsburgh. This show is to commemorate the life of Javon and to bring awareness to gun violence. Javon's art has not been seen publicly in 30 years and Alphonso "Fonz" will unveil several new pieces including the title piece "Repentance".
