Presumptive Democratic nominee for U.S. President and sitting Vice President Kamala Harris arrived in Pittsburgh Sunday afternoon to an enthusiastic welcome from an invited crowd. She was traveling with her running mate, Minn. Gov. Tim Walz, and greeted by an array of Pa. and Allegheny County politicos including U.S. Sen. Bob Casey and U.S. Rep. Chris Deluzio. Both candidates were accompanied by their spouses. The candidates greeted supporters before boarding a bus and traveling north to Rochester, Pa. There, they participated in a phone bank and gave remarks to a small crowd. Clusters of supporters of presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump gathered nearby. The campaign bus made additional stops in Pa. before the candidates traveled to Chicago for the 2024 Democratic National Convention.
