The newly renovated basketball court in Allegheny Commons known as “The Jungle” was unveiled this past Saturday with a community celebration and ribbon cutting ceremony. Cole and Clay McCloskey of the Pittsburgh-based creative agency, Hounds, along with Janel Young and nonprofit, Swish Dreams helped bring new life to a beloved Northside court. The Jungle Classic high school basketball tournament scheduled for Saturday afternoon was postponed due to heavy rain, a new date will be released on The Jungle’s Instagram page @thejunglepgh in the coming days.
