A Satie Souvenir

Michael Cerveris, local pianist, musical historian, and former president of the Steinway Society has developed A SATIE SOUVENIR out of a life-long admiration of the artist. He is collaborating with talented friends, including vocalist Daphne Alderson, singer and actor H. Davis Weaver, Ken Bolden and projection designer Joe Spinogatti. Works will include Embryons desséchés ("Desiccated embryos"), Les Trois Valses Distinguées Du Précieux Dégouté (“Three Distinguished Waltzes of a Jaded Dandy”) and well-known song, Je Te Veux (“I Love You”). Mr. Cerveris will also be performing Sports et Divertissements (“Sports and Pastimes”), accompanied by art and text.
