This month, Americans recovering from addiction will be joined by friends, family, and community members at awareness and educational events all over the nation. This year’s Recovery Month theme is “Join the voices for Recovery: Together We are Stronger.” In Pittsburgh, September’s biggest event is the Recovery Walk on Sat., Sept. 14, aiming to dispel the negative stigma associated with addiction and recovery.
