Jason's Gamrath's
SUPER.NATURAL. at
Phipps Conservatory & Botanical Gardens has captivated 125,000 guests since its opening in May. Now, visitors can see the artist's 40 mammoth glass installations in a whole new light.
Through Nov. 5, Phipps is extending its hours until 11 p.m. for
SUPER.NATURAL. Nights, where Gamrath's installations will be accented with custom indoor lighting, creating "a transformational after-dark experience," according to a press release.
"Guests who have seen
SUPER.NATURAL. during the day will want to return in the evening for this unique, contemporary display," said the Sept. 5 release.
Visitors can also view the Conservatory's orchid and desert-plant collections, and permanent glass installations by Dale Chihuly and Hans Godo Fräbel during the expanded hours.
This is not the first time Phipps has pushed back its closing time. In 2007, the conservatory held Chihuly Nights so visitors could view Dale Chihuly's own glass-art exhibit illuminated amidst 15 acres worth of gardens.
The admission prices remain the same during this time. For more information, see
